Brandied Oranges

Directions
Sterilize and fill 4 half-pint wide-mouth jars with mandarin oranges, divided evenly; set aside. Combine brandy and honey in small saucepan. Heat just to blend honey. Do not boil. Pour 1/4 cup of honey mixture into each orange-filled jar. Tightly close jar with lid. Let stand at least 1 month before using. These are delicious with poultry or ham or served over ice cream or pound cake.
Ingredients
4 cans (11 oz. each) - mandarin oranges, drained
3/4 cup - brandy
TIP
For variety, use other small ripe fruit such as kumquats, pitted cherries or apricots.
