Asian Turkey Wontons with Mango Salsa

Directions

Whisk together all ingredients for the marinade. Pour into a large bowl with meat and mix thoroughly. Keep in fridge for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, mix all ingredients together for the salsa. Gently press wonton skins into a mini muffin pan. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes until golden, rotating pan halfway through. Cook marinated meat, and season to taste. Top wonton cups with meat and salsa.

Ingredients

  • Wonton skins

  • 1 pound - lean ground turkey (93% lean)

  • Marinade - .

  • ¼ cup - low-sodium soy sauce

  • 3 tablespoons - honey

  • 1 tablespoon - sesame oil

  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 to 3 teaspoons - sriracha

  • ½ cup - green onions, chopped

  • Salsa - .

  • 1 - ripe mangoes, diced

  • ¼ - red onion, diced

  • ¼ cup - cilantro, chopped

  • ½ - jalapeno, seeded and diced

  • Juice of ½ - lime , (about 1 tablespoon)

  • 1 teaspoon - honey

  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
