Lychee Honey

Lytchee is an amazing plant believed to have originated in China. majority of this evergreen sub-tropical plant in India found Bihar, Assam and Punjab, seasonal Litchi fruit is harvested in the month of May and June. Litchi honeys is sweetest of all honey, light and buttery with a melt in the mouth flavor as its fruit.

Jamun Honey

Black plum is very famous fruit in India where it is well known as Jamun and belongs to the Myrtaceae family. Jamun Honey is sourced from bees that feed and forage primarily on Jamun blossoms. It is collected from Malnad region of Karnataka and harvested in August when the flowers blossom. Jamun honey possesses the essence of Jamun flora in its divine form.
Jamun honey is a very good remedy for the people suffering from diabetes, it has low glycemic index which keeps blood sugar level under check as well as cures common diabetes symptoms and complications like excess thirst, urination etc.

 

Tasting notes: Jamun honey contains the essence of Jamun in its divine form, it comparatively less sweet than other honeys, it is said to have a wonderful lingering aftertaste.

Eucalyptus Honey

Eucalyptus is one of the larger plant genera with over 500 species, hence Eucalyptus honey varies greatly in color and flavor. In India eucalyptus was introduced by the British in Nilgiri of Tamilnadu. Traditionally, Eucalyptus honey has been used to protect against colds and headaches. With a hint of menthol flavor, it can be quite effective in alleviating mild cough, chest congestion, and other cold symptoms. Eucalyptus honey naturally has traces of eucalyptol compounds that have been carried in the nectar by the honey bee from the flower to hive, it makes the honey slightly medicinal taste.
